This piece addresses the sexism dimension of the Kurdish language by exploring words, expressions and proverbs that value men and disrespect women. There is a Kurdish word that drifted from the Arabic language the Arabic meaning is weak, powerless, helpless, flabby, poorly; another word used as a name for a female at the same time adjective in Kurdish vernacular language.
